Red Lily Bouquet: Sold
These lilies from the garden were paired with ladies mantel in a white vase. I love the combination of colors -- and used lots and lots of thick paint to convey the richness of the flowers.

This is a scene from Alki Beach in Seattle. The oil painting is on board which is screwed into an oak box that is 1 inch deep. It is currently for sale at Wild Rose's Home Furnishings in West Seattle.

Pink Hydrangia: Sold
This hydrangea is Italian -- who doesn't love everything Tuscan? I snapped a photo in a beautiful Florence garden and used it to inspire the painting. The birch box can stand alone on a shelf or table, and the wire hanger works on a wall. It looks great in any small spot.

Peony Bouquet: Sold
This Spring has been a fabulous peony season. These delicate flowers have an ethereal scent and quality that are a challenge. Can you capture a "scent" in paint? Anyway, this painting was done from life in my little home studio. It is available in my Etsy shop.

Mason Jar Bouquet: Sold
This jar of zinnias is currently in the June Artwalk at Wildrose's in West Seattle. The painting was done from a photo I took at a charming local market stand in Pennsylvania a few years ago. The painting is on birch board with a wood cradle that is hung without a frame.

Catalina Trail: Sold
I used a palatte knife and lots of thick paint for this painting of Southern Arizona's Catalina Mountains. The scene is early morning -- my favorite time to walk.
