Cascade Mountain Home: Sold
This painting is from a photograph of a cabin in the Cascade Mountains near Cle Elum, Washington. I used a red underpainting to warm up the cools of the greens and blues, and lots of juicy oil paint.

This charming scene is from Eastern Washington State near the town of Colville, my husband's home. The lemon greens and blues help convey the feeling of Spring that was filling the air.

Oregon Dahlia Fields: Sold
My husband and I love to grow dahlias, and we especially like to visit Swan Island Dahlia Farm in Canby, OR. July through October the fields of flowers are an incredible sight. This painting has lots of thick paint to convey the richness of the scene. If you are a flower lover, I hope it speaks to you.

This is a study done in a friends back yard. She is so lucky to have this beautiful view of the Olympic Mountains over Puget Sound in Seattle.
